Sound therapy is a non-invasive technique which promotes deep relaxation, alleviates the effects of stress, improves focus and enhances overall energy and wellbeing. This gentle yet effective therapy uses therapeutic tuning forks to release tension, improve flow and promote a sense of calm and ease. Most people report feeling “lighter, calmer, clearer and relaxed” with more energy afterwards.

How does it work

We usually think of our health in terms of its biology and chemistry: our anatomy and all the chemical reactions that occur within it. But what about our physics? Our bodies are also electric: our heart, brain and nervous system all function electrically.

Anything that is electric is surrounded by an electromagnetic field. Just as we cannot see the electricity that powers our lights or the wifi that connects us to the internet, we cannot see our electromagnetic field that flows through and around us. But it’s there.

Like the iCloud or Google Drive, your field stores your (emotional) files: it’s full of data about your memories, experiences and times of stress. It also acts like a lens through which you see the world. Unprocessed emotions can create distortions in that lens, which affect our present lives.

The electromagnetic waves which flow through our fields can be detected using sound and vibration. The practitioner uses the tuning forks to scan through the field, listening and feeling for areas of disharmony, which are then resolved using the coherent frequencies of the forks to alleviate physical and emotional discomfort.

Session Types

Standard Session

Mostly working in your field, the practitioner will find and resolve your unique areas of disturbance and improve your energy flow. Three sessions are recommended to start with, allowing a few days in between each to give your body time to adjust and integrate the changes. [60 minutes]

Adrenal Rhythm Reset

If you feel constantly exhausted, running on empty, have a short fuse and/or trouble sleeping, it is likely that your adrenal rhythm is dysregulated. Resetting your adrenal glands helps to restore their healthy function. Three sessions are recommended, allowing a few days in between each to give your body time to adjust and integrate the changes. [60 minutes]

Sonic Meridian Flush

This is a powerful treatment which creates a deeply relaxing and restorative result. It involves on-the-body work rather than working in the field. Sound vibration is applied directly to the head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet. This style of session can be a great introduction if you have never experienced energy work/sound therapy and feels more like a spa treatment. [90 minutes]

Spine Walk/Slide

This improves flow along the spinal column and is beneficial for those suffering from anxiety/stress, over thinkers, caregivers, those experiencing fatigue or back pain. This can be done either as a mini session [30 minutes] or as part of another session.

A Sacral Stabilisation is often added to a spine walk/slide or as part of another session, and is particularly helpful if you are suffering with lower back pain.

Working with scars

Physically, this promotes healing by improving blood and lymph flow. Energetically, scars can hold emotions, memories and beliefs connected to the event that caused the scar. Wait at least 6 months before working on a new scar to allow the natural healing process to complete. Scar work can be done either as a mini session [30 minutes] or as part of another session.

Diaphragm Release

Helps those struggling to use open and full abdominal breath. The diaphragm can become restricted at times of stress. Opening the diaphragm can be done either as a mini session [30 minutes] or as part of another session.

First Aid

Releases tension from specific areas of the body as required and is useful to alleviate pain [30 minutes]
